The Coachella music festival is embracing a somewhat controversial new technology this year: Livestreaming. The festival is partnering with Google to livestream all of the concerts through Youtube, allowing anyone to listen in for free. This broadens their potential audience, of course, but the drawback is that some who might have gone to the festival and thus paid for tickets might not. Still, Coachella apparently consider's it worth it, so if you want to hear Bon Iver, St Vincent, The Shins, Manchester Orchestra, or any of the other act's performing this weekend, go to youtube.com/coachella to watch the festival live.
